Jacksonville, Oregon
One of the most interesting getaways without going to far is a day in Jacksonville, Oregon. Jacksonville is one of only a few towns in the US that is over 100 years old and considered a historic landmark.  You really do step back in time as you walk the streets, stop at a cafe for a cup of fabulous coffee, or hike the hills to overlook the valley.  A few of our favorites:
